The form designer shows a live WYSIWYG form preview (Unified Interface only) of the form. Makers can select fields, sections and tabs directly on the preview. The property pane automatically updates to show the properties of the selected element.

Neither SharePoint or Expression web are wysiwyg. Expression web is MS effort to produce a professional standards compliant tool and Sharepoint is pointed in a bit of a different direction. SharePoint is aimed at SharePoint websites, but has more support for FrontPage. Expression Web does not have a Navigation View if you use FrontPage navigation components - SharePoint Designer does have Navigation View. Some knowledge of HTML and CSS are required to get the best out of these programs. MS does not offer a wysiwyg editor. You might look at Serif WebPlus or something similar to that if you want something more like FP. Reference: Expression Web forum: Read the sticky threads at the top before you post.
